Har ki Dun Trek- Himalaya Shelter

The Har ki Dun Trek in Uttarakhand's Garhwal Himalayas is an unforgettable journey through lush valleys and historic villages. This intermediate trek spans around 53 kilometers round trip and takes 6-7 days to complete. The trip begins at Sankri village and gradually ascends through pine, oak, and rhododendron forests. Har ki Dun, or "Valley of Gods," is a picturesque valley surrounded by peaks like Swargarohini and Bandarpunch. Trekkers commonly encounter a variety of species, such as Himalayan langurs and musk deer. The valley holds cultural significance for the inhabitants since it is supposed to represent the path taken by the Pandavas on their journey to heaven.
