Located in the middle of northern India, the Golden Triangle of India consists of Delhi, Jaipur, and Agra on the western and eastern borders. This inland region is limited by the Himalayan Mountains in the north, the Great Indian or Thar Desert in the west, and the Aravalli Highlands in the south. To the east stretch the rich plains of the Ganges, where wheat, sugarcane, mustard, and lentils grow.
