Arba Minch mens 40 springs in Amharic, the local language in most of Ethiopia cities. it is located some 450km from the capital Addis Ababa and 230km from Jinka. It is located inside the Great Rift Valley. The two largest Rift Valley lakes are found in Arba Minch.
